Washington began the Civil War as a dusty, desolate place with legalized slavery.  As the war ended and America mourned Lincoln’s assassination, it emerged as a national city. We’ll walk you through this transformation in this two-hour tour, starting at the U.S. Capitol and ending at The White House.
